Girls Play House...Women Build Them

This fall, Habitat for Humanity invites women across our community to come together with purpose, power, and passion for the Women Build — a hands-on opportunity to build safe, affordable housing while lifting up women and families in need.
Whether you swing a hammer, rally your network, or sponsor a team, your involvement helps turn generosity into stability, strength, and hope.
What is the Women’s Build?

The Women’s Build is a collaborative construction project led by women from all walks of life — professionals, entrepreneurs, volunteers, and advocates — who believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home.

Participants form teams, raise funds through peer-to-peer fundraising, and work side-by-side on the build site throughout the summer. No construction experience required — just a willingness to learn, lead, and serve.

Who does Habitat build for?

Our homes are built for individuals and families who have a demonstrated need for housing, can pay an affordable mortgage, and are willing to partner with us to help build homes & take classes to prepare them to be successful homeowners. Habitat offers local families in need a hand up – not a hand out – and empowers them to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter.
